Welcome
We are pleased to welcome you to the First ACM International Symposium on Design and Analysis of Intelligent Vehicular Networks and Applications (DIVANet’11), held in conjunction with the 14th ACM International Conference on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Wireless and Mobile Systems (MSWiM'11), on October 31 to November 4, 2011 in Miami Beach, FL, USA.
The First ACM DIVANet'11 International Symposium aims to provide researchers and practitioners with a venue to disseminate and share state-of-the-art research on vehicular networks, intelligent transportation systems and wireless mobile ad hoc networking. Every paper submitted has been peer-reviewed by at least two referees from the Technical Program Committee. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, eighteen papers were selected for publication in this ACM proceedings and for presentation at the symposium.
Finally, we would like to thank the authors for their paper contributions and all of the reviewers for their timely feedbacks. We hope you will find this program interesting and that the symposium provides you with a forum of discussion and an opportunity to share ideas with other researchers and specialists from around the world.
We also would like to thank the MSWiM 2011 Organizing Committee and MSWiM General Co-Chairs for this great opportunity to host this symposium in conjunction with MSWiM 2011.
We wish to thank our main sponsor ACM and ACM SIGSIM, and the support we received from NSERC-DIVA Network.
